Characteristics of flames during normal combustion of boiler burners
After the boiler burner catches fire, the flame state changes. By analyzing the flame color, flame state, flame color, and other aspects, the burner state can be inferred. Today, Europa will take you to understand what different flames represent.
1、 Oil fired boiler burner
1. In general, the flame of a fuel steam boiler burner is yellow orange, neither white nor black smoke. The outline of the flame is clear, with no snowflakes or sparks around it, and the outside of the flame appears transparent and smoky; When the flame is on high fire, it should basically fill the furnace, but there should be no flame end sweeping or heating surface.
2. When the oil temperature and oil pressure meet the requirements, if sparks are carried in the flame, the nozzle may be blocked.
3. When the atomization is uneven, the local flow density is too high, or there are large particle oil droplets, and several black stripes can be seen at the base of the flame. When the large oil droplets burn, there are snowflake shaped sparks around the flame periphery. The atomization conditions should be adjusted at this time.
4. If there is incomplete combustion of carbon black and combustible gas outside the flame, there will be flame curling and black smoke around and at the tail of the flame, and the smoke will be turbid. Here, it is necessary to adjust the air volume, check the position of the stable smoke tray for air distribution, and sometimes remove the nozzle.
2、 Gas boiler burner
1. When the burner of the gas steam boiler is working normally, the flame has a slight blue to yellow color, clear outline, stable flame, and no deviation.
2. If there is a wheat yellow, cloudy, or gray flame, it indicates that the air volume is too small or the mixing is poor.
3. If black smoke is emitted, it indicates that carbon black has precipitated before complete combustion. Therefore, measures such as adjusting the air volume and gas volume, adjusting the air distribution to stabilize the position of the smoke tray, etc. should be taken to improve the combustion conditions and restore normal combustion.
